Hrastovec Castle

Hrastovec castle is reachable via the nearby trunk road leading to Lenart, the centre of Slovenske gorice. In just over five minutes you will sight one of the largest and best preserved castles in Slovenia. Whereas the castle was once home to the comital family Herberstein, it now houses the Hrastovec Social Welfare Institution. In the near future, the castle will primarily be a tourist spot, yet it is already possible to enjoy all the sights it offers today.
