The Maister Tower

The Maister tower overlooks the nearby Zavrh (8 km). As a reminder: Rudolf Maister (1874-1934) was a Slovene general and poet who fought for the northern Slovene border following the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The tower offers a wonderful view of Pohorje, Kozjak and Boč. The nearby Stupič villa also holds a memorial exhibition dedicated to Slovenia's most famous soldier.
